Sometimes one piece of information can make all the difference.

Providing reward funding continues to be a core function of the Edina First Responders Fund. Rewards can encourage people with knowledge about a crime to come forward, giving investigators information that may help prevent additional incidents or identify those responsible.

One example shows how effective that support can be. After a series of thefts at construction sites, reward flyers were posted throughout the community. The thefts stopped immediately.

While every situation is different, reward funding gives the Edina Police Department another valuable tool for gathering information and protecting the community.
