Bringing the Work Behind the Badge Into View
Much of the work performed by Edina’s first responders happens outside the public eye.
Beyond the Badge helps bring that work into view. Co-sponsored by the Edina First Responders Fund, this monthly cable television series explores the people, programs and inner workings of the Edina Police and Fire Departments.
The show gives residents a better understanding of how first responders train, prepare and serve the community. It also offers an opportunity to meet the people behind the uniforms and learn more about the responsibilities they take on every day.
Beyond the Badge airs on Channel 813 for Comcast subscribers and Channel 1236 for CenturyLink subscribers. Viewers can also find segments on the City of Edina and Edina First Responders Fund Facebook pages and on the City of Edina website.
By making this work more visible, Beyond the Badge helps strengthen understanding and connection between Edina’s first responders and the community they serve.
